Board of Directors

Melinda (Lindy) C. Rollo

Lindy is one of the founding Board Members for the Cole’s Cure Foundation. She is also an active volunteer for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in a leadership role in the Team in Training program. Lindy’s role in the Team in Training Program includes working with teams to train volunteers in fund raising and prepares them for marathon and half-marathon events. Recently, while laying the compliance groundwork, she was able to create all of the documentation necessary for the successful establishment of a public foundation in the east bay of San Francisco.

On a professional level, Lindy is the Chief Financial Officer for Public Buildings Service if the General Services Administration, a Federal government agency. She is responsible for the financial management of the Pacific Rim Region which includes Arizona, Nevada, California, Hawaii and many Pacific Rim countries including Japan, South Korea and Guam. In addition Lindy has been the CFO for the USDA Forest Service, Pacific Southwest Region, a CPA with Coopers & Lybrand and a college professor at Diablo Valley College. She lives in Lafayette, California and has a son and a daughter who are working and going to college nearby.

Genevieve S. Orta (“Gigi”)

Gigi Orta is an estate planning attorney in Piedmont, California. Her practice focuses on providing comprehensive, personalized estate planning counseling to couples, families, and individuals, as well as probate and trust administration. Gigi is committed to helping her clients understand that the foundation of estate planning is appreciating the value of protecting themselves and their loved ones. Gigi graduated from the University of San Francisco Law School, magna cum laude, in 1996, and has been in private practice for the past eight years. She is a member of the Trust and Probate section of the Alameda County Bar Association and the Asian American Bar Association. She is currently obtaining an LL.M. in taxation at Golden Gate University, and is an adjunct professor at John F. Kennedy University School of Law. Born and raised in San Francisco, Gigi now lives in Piedmont with her husband, John, and their two children, Sam and Lily.

Wade Westoff

Wade has extensive investment experience with private individuals and families in addition to large public corporations and private institutions. His specialty focuses primarily on investment management consulting, utilizing institutional money managers for the firms’ individual, family, trust and estate clients. His extensive knowledge and experience of the investment consulting process play key roles in helping clients work towards their financial success.

Prior to joining Financial Partners in 2002, Wade worked for the institutional investment group of Wells Fargo Bank in San Francisco. He was a regional consultant providing short-duration investment solutions for many of the bank’s corporate and institutional clients. Prior to that role, Wade was with Wells Fargo Private Client Services, where he worked in brokerage, trust and estate, private banking, and investment management with individuals, families and trusts. Wade has been quoted in the Contra Costa Times regarding financial planning matters.

Wade has a BS degree from Oregon State University. He has also completed post-graduate courses is accounting, statistics and quantitative analysis. Currently, he is enrolled in the College for Financial Planning in Denver working toward his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. His is a current member of the Northern California Chapter of the Financial Planning Association and a member of the Oregon State University Bay Area Business Roundtable. Wade is also a member of the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) and is a volunteer coach for the San Ramon Bears Youth Football Club.
