Who is Cole’s Cure?

Cole’s Cure is an organization built from the ground up from past and painful experiences. Our main focus and goals are to alleviate financial burden from parents so their main focus is their family and diagnosed child.

What does Cole’s Cure do?

Cole’s Cure will focus our sights on the one aspect after cancer that is considered by many doctors and social workers to be the most stress full worry which is finances.

The three areas of interest are going to be:

1. Educate:
Show families the “What if” situation and expose multiple months of one or both incomes lost and work with them
2. Assess:
Offer families a fiscal year future financial plan and attempt to prevent large financial losses so stress levels are a potential minimum
3. Assist:
Help families financially with monthly bills and create a little less stress in each of the lives affected

Why did Cole’s Cure happen?

Cole’s Cure is an organization created after my wife and I were told our 7 week old son Cole was diagnosed with AML Leukemia. We lived at Stanford’s Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital for 9 straight months and a total of 14 out of the 21 months Cole lived. Both of us were out of work and with zero income our financial future was undetermined and not so optimistic. We saw a need that was not being addressed by any organization that would create a significant difference in anyone's lives.
